Through international programs, a wide range of issues is covered that relate to attitude and behavior research for international comparison and analyses over time. The data can have a high level of complexity due to the particular challenge of comparability across countries, cultures, and points in time. The RDC International Survey Programs not only provides researchers with easy and, as far as possible, standardized access to data but also offers consultancy and knowledge transfer, to facilitate research of the highest possible quality.
The Research Data Center (RDC) International Survey Programs provides researchers with data access and consultation services on important international study series which are under intensive curation by GESIS.
Prominent survey series are the annually collected International Social Survey Programme (ISSP), the European Values Study (EVS) with a nine-year schedule, the primary data of the European Commission’s Eurobarometer program with currently up to eight large surveys per year, the Comparative Study of Electoral Systems (CSES) and the European Election Studies (EES / PIREDEU).
